The Promise of Christmas
The Promise in Glen Rose is a live performance of worship unlike any other. Located in Glen Rose, TX, the long-running musical follows the life of Jesus Christ, featuring live animals and 200 actors that perform in a 3,250-seat amphitheater.
The Christmas event of the season is presented by First United Methodist Church Glen Rose and features the Lakeside Baptist Church Choir. Since beginning in 1989, The Promise Amphitheater is the largest permanent outdoor venue in the Lone Star State.
