Count ‘em! Granbury, TX, was named “Best Historic Small Town in America” three years in a row! As the most historic town in the nation, there are a variety of attractions, entertainment and history that lives in Granbury.

For starters, discover a new Granbury at Hotel Lucy. From luxury suites and modern amenities, daily happy hours and a resort-style pool, Hotel Lucy roles out the red carpet for every single guest upon arrival.

To eat, choose anything from spuds, barbecue, and seafood at Mesquite Pit Steaks and Bar B Q. The lakefront restaurant was also voted “Best Margarita in Hood County!”

A new attraction to Granbury is Captain Kirk’s Tiki Cruises. The 1.5-hour boat expedition provides guests a scenic tour of Lake Granbury from a different vantage point.

Bonus: the boat docks in and out of Mesquite Pit.

End the night at Warren’s Backyard, a Texas music venue with an outdoor stage, patio, picnic seating and a farmhouse bar that serves up the official drink of Granbury, 2-Shots Fired.

Every morning should start at Oz Coffee Bar, a ‘Wizard of Oz’ themed coffee shop that’s famous for their Wicked BLT.

Lastly, get to know Granbury’s folklore by visiting one of their many historic sites and museums, including the Last Mile Cemetery Tour. Although famous outlaw Jesse James grave rests in Granbury, it is said, his remains may not.

Take a trip to Granbury, where history lives forever!
