Cajun Heaven in the Hill Country
Join YOLO TX on the road to Bandera for the annual Medina Lake Cajun Festival. Folks from around the world have been flocking to this Cajun Festival for 40 years! What started out as a BBQ & Chili fundraiser to raise funds for the Lakehills Civic Center, quickly blossomed once Bob Caswell – a Louisiana transplant – got ahold of the event.
Guests can enjoy Zydeco music and performances, as well as authentic cajun food that’s cooked on-site. But the heart and soul of the festival is the Gumbo Cook-Off. Professionals and amateurs go head-to-head for a chance to be crowned the best gumbo of the year!
Let the good times roll with YOLO TX Co-Host Tessa Andrade at the 40th annual Medina Lake Cajun Festival.
