Curling. It’s like chess on ice. Some describe it as shuffleboard in a rink. It’s a sport most known in Canada or in northern states of the U.S. but is quickly becoming popular in Texas.
Since 2006, Lone Star Curling Club has been sharing their love for curling in Austin. The organization teaches players the fundamentals and rules of the game, provides step-by-step demonstrations to curling, and hosts weekly leagues and bi-yearly tournaments.
