Head with us to Far West Texas as we explore Big Bend and the surrounding communities.
Our first stop: Alpine – “The Heart of Big Bend”. Alpine is home to Sul Ross University, beautiful street art, the Museum of the Big Bend, and “The Desk,” a traditional school desk located at the top of Hancock Hill where visitors can sign a notebook kept inside the desk.
Just a short distance away is Big Bend. The big draw here is Big Bend National Park but folks can also world class golf courses, zipline tours, amongst other recreational activities.
In Terlingua, Ten Bits Ranch is an off-grid lodging site with beautiful views you can’t get anywhere else. While you’re in the Ghost Town have a bowl of chili – without beans – at the famous Starlight Theatre Restaurant.
