Revved Up in Alvin
Get in gear for the 48th annual Frontier Day and Car Show. Since 1974, the Alvin Rotary Club has been putting on the event of the year. With carnival rides, local arts & crafts, live music and the ultimate car show, folks from all over Texas gather for a day of family-fun.
The event kicks off with the Frontier Day Parade through old town Alvin, then travels to National Oak Park where the real show begins. The Car & Bike Show brings in cars, trucks & bikes from across the state. This year, over 200 vehicles were in attendance.
In true western fashion, guests can also enjoy the “saloon” beer garden and a “shoot-out” put on by the Alvin Rotary Club Gunfighters. Frontier Day is a long-standing tradition in Alvin and welcomes visitors from surrounding communities.
