Join us this week as we head to Arlington for Fright Fest at Six Flags Over Texas. Watch where you’re going because you just might hop on a spine-chilling ride flooded with creepy creatures!
Next we head to Military City, USA for a veteran-owned brewery. Longtab Brewing Company was started by David Holland, a former Green Beret in the US Army Special Forces. His mission was to tell the story of the Green Berets through beer.
We then hit the road to Bandera for the annual Medina Lake Cajun Festival. What started out as a BBQ & Chili fundraiser to raise funds for the Lakehills Civic Center, quickly blossomed into a 40-year event where guests can enjoy Zydeco music and performances, as well as authentic cajun food that’s cooked on-site.
We finish our trip in Houston at the Buffalo Bayou Cistern– an underground treasure where folks can experience unique art exhibits and learn about one of the city’s biggest former water storage tanks.
