The National Cave of Texas
Get off the beaten path with Longhorn Cavern State Park. Just 90 miles outside of Austin, located in Burnet, Texas, this Lonestar attraction has been satisfying spelunkers and visitors since the 1930s. Now, this state park is considered the “National Cave of Texas.” Not only can you explore natural formations 130 feet underground, but guests can also hike a number of trails throughout the Texas Hill Country.
