Join YOLO TX for a weekend escape exploring the Great Outdoors in Del Rio, TX. We love scenic areas that capture the natural beauty of the Lone Star State. Outside of city limits are numerous recreational water-based activities.

First up, Lake Amistad Rentals. Choose your stay at cabins, various bedroom options, RV parking, and condo units with vaulted ceilings all located nearby Rough Canyon. Enjoy scenic views of Devils River State Natural Area with Amistad Expeditions and be shuttled around by water taxies though Lake Amistad TCS. Once you’ve seen the “most pristine river in Texas,” end your night with authentic Tex-Mex food and live music at Memo’s Restaurant.

Day 2 in Del Rio begins at Amistad National Recreational Area. Put your bass fishing skills to the test at Lake Amistad and explore to some of the best fishing locations in the nation. After that, take a hike at Seminole Canyon Historical State Park where various records of hunter and gatherer artwork can be seen on any trail. End the day at Hooker’s 1-Stop for a burger, steak, cold beer and live music by Peter the 3rd.

Before hitting the road back home, try out catfishing at Lake Amistad and explore 840 miles of shoreline.

Del Rio has a lot to offer. To find out more about Del Rio activities, click here.
